In recent days we have prepared fresh for our guests the first elderflower syrup - it tastes delicious! Make a little fun and try it for yourself ...


Here is our recipe for elderberry syrup (dissolve)

2 liters of water
3 kg sugar
25 umbels of elder
100 grams of citric acid
4-5 pieces lemons sliced

Preparation:
sugar citric acid and dissolve in water, add the cones and the lemon slices and 5 days in a cool place - let stand - covered.
Pour through a fine sieve and pour into bottles.

Nachdem wir die Rasulitour abgebrochen haben, musste ich Paul schonen und habe nur noch kleine Runden gedreht, weil ich ja die Hoffnung hegte die Tour in der letzten Urlaubswoche durchzuführen.

Aber das wird nix; denn es begab sich, dass ich mit Adja und Paul am Zwinger der von mir nicht besonders geliebten DSH Freunde vorbeilief. Einer der "Ausbilder" kennt mich und schätzt den Gehorsam meiner Hunde.

Er sprach mich an und sagte: "Hier du musst Dir mal nen Hund anschauen... mit dem können wir nix anfangen... ich würde ihn Dir geben für 50,-- die mich die Impfung gekostet hat." 

Tja ... Was soll ich schreiben ?
Wir haben pro und contras abgewogen und uns entschieden:

I finally leave and wanted originally with the dogs, that is run by Paul and neighboring dog Branka by 'Simmershausen' to 'God faithfulness to the way we usually travel to have expired on foot by car.

on 02.06.2010 it was time ... The weather was really good (overcast but warm) for hiking.

Well to make it short: we are just 5-6 km run, when Paul began to limp.

I've looked at his front leg and found that he did not have trapped debris, the far right toe was swollen, but pretty. I think he has somehow when represented gamble with Branka or compressed.

short, we have stopped!! (:-(

I then went to Paul and Branka by car and only have little more gentle walks taken. Paul could not play .... just not what it positively wrong) :-)

The consultation with the local vet confirmed my diagnosis ... Walk the dive ... Eight days rest.

good that I have total of 3 weeks vacation, because we can catch up in the last week the Rasulitour
